Renshinkai Aikido

The Renshinkai Misogikan Aikido group consists of Dojo’s throughout The Russian Federation each headed by a qualified Teacher of Renshinkai Aikido.

Each Dojo is independently run by the Senior Sensei but has close connection to the Misogikan Main Dojo in Moscow.

The most senior Renshinkai rank in Russia is David Eayrs who holds the rank of 7th Dan and has the authority to grade students to the level of 4th Dan Renshinkai.

All examinations for Black Belt are conducted in the presence of Sensei David, no person is accepted for examination unless his or her standard is up to the standard of Renshinkai Honbu Dojo.

Misogikan maintains close and direct contact with Renshinkai Honbu Dojo and has already hosted several visits to Moscow of Kancho Kyoichi Inoue, Hanshi, 10th dan, the former Global Head of Yoshinkan and Tsutomu Chida, 8th dan Shihan, the chief instructor of Renshinkai Aikido Honbu Dojo (and the former chief instructor of Yoshinkan Honbu Dojo).

Hi Aikidoka,

The later part of last year and this year have seen several changes within the Misogikan and our dojo like many others have been hit with very high increases of rent making things difficult.

At the town of Krasnogorsk the senior sensei decided to leave the Misogikan and is now affiliated to Hanshi Inoue’s organization while the bulk of the students voted to remain in the Misogikan. There are now two dojo’s operating from the same building one, our affiliate is headed by Sensei Evgenei Belitski and the dojo have been named Koseikan. I have conducted several seminars and examinations there and the standard is very high it’s always a pleasure to go there and meet these great people also in order to enhance their technique every week some of the senior ranks visit our Honbu Dojo to train with our senior ranks, we enjoy their company and wish the dojo best wishes for its continued success.

As many of you know there have been many changes in the structure and leadership of the Yoshinkan Honbu Dojo in Japan.

This started with the resignation of the then Kancho of Yoshinkan Inoue Hanshi 9th dan and later with the resignation of Chida Sensei 8th dan.

These events caused much dismay and stress to many people world wide including myself . I have always had the greatest of respect for both of these Sensei’s whom I consider to be two of the greatest Sensei’s in the world.
